Potatoes with a Salami, Emmental Cheese, and Thyme Filling

INGREDIENTS. Serves 6.
6 firm-fleshed potatoes of the same size
80g thin slices of Milano salami
60g thin slices of Emmental cheese
extra virgin olive oil
salt
pepper
thyme

Preparation
Wash the potatoes thoroughly and boil them in salted water, drain, and leave to cool. Slice the potatoes with a knife (oil the knife to make it easier) but leave them joined at the base. Brush the potatoes with oil and sprinkle with pepper.
Stuff the slices alternating half a slice of salami and a small slice of cheese.
Serve the potatoes immediately or bake them in the oven for a few minutes at 180°C until the cheese slightly melts. Sprinkle the potatoes with thyme leaves and serve.
